It's been 10 amazing years together! We now have a beautiful baby girl. Doug works as an "immunochemistry staff scientist" at a biotech company. Amanda is enjoying her job as a third grade teacher. Our pup, Charlie keeps us busy and entertained!

Alaska: Day 2

Well, today we took the Ferry to Valdez (incorrectly pronounced "Valdeez" here). We saw some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen, as well as lots of wildlife! Here are some of the highlights of today:

Here is the first of many icebergs that we saw today.
They look like they've been dyed blue!
Can you tell what this is? It's a humpback whale! Or its tail, at least.-
Here is Colombia Glacier, the destination of our kayaking excursion tomorrow! It's HUGE!

Here are a couple of lazy sea lions. We saw a lot of them on the shore, but these were the funniest!
